The term “microgreens” represents the stage of growth between sprouts and baby greens, and they are known for their intense flavor, condensed nutrition, beautiful color, and delicate texture. We catalog our microgreens into two groups: Mainstays and Divas. Your mainstays are versatile varieties that go well with any dish—your everyday, go-to greens. Your divas add pops of flavor and flashes of color—respectfully referred to as divas, because they deserve it.

Green Girl Produce is Tennessee’s first hydroponic vertical farm. 

As indoor growers, we control everything from the temperature to the type & amount of light that makes up the growing environment for our microgreens. Being able to dial in at such specificity, we produce as little waste as possible while providing our microgreens with exactly what they need to thrive. And it's quite a sight.

Our vertical systems use LED technology and the hydroponic process of “Nutrient Film Technique” (NFT).

This allows us to control every input that goes into growing our microgreens. Hydroponics is a soilless process, using water and nutrients to create a healthy environment for plants—from the roots to leaf tips. Green Girl is constantly fine tuning our system’s operations to produce the highest quality microgreens in Memphis.
